Niigata is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan on Honshu Island, and it is easily accessible from Tokyo on the Joetsu Shinkansen (departs from tracks 21, 22, 23 and sometimes 20. Ask the railway staff for assistance). This high-speed railroad line can reach Niigata from Tokyo in about 2 hours. JR (Japan Railway) Niigata Station is your next destination on your way to visit the Nature Aquarium Gallery.
From Niigata Station, you can reach the Nature Aquarium Gallery with following route.
1) JR Echigo Line bound for Yoshida; get off at JR Maki Station, then call a taxi
